Retrax Pro MX question
#23
Has anyone installed the Retrax Pro on a 6.5' bed? I am curious to see if the rear box cleats are still covered up. Please post picture(s) if you can.
Thanks
Edit: Just saw some pictures of the 6.5' bed and the cleats are mounted in the same location

Retrax Pro MX
Another vote for ReTrax Pro MX . I bought the newly released MX (flat black vs the shiny black) and could not be happier. NO noise what so ever, and I mean zero. 100% water proof. After taking my platinum through a car wash 4 times and opening the cover afterwards, my BedRug has been bone dry, including after a snowstorm in my area which had 6" of snow, which eventually melted.
The fit is like factory OEM. In other words, the form and fit of this cover is so good that it looks like it was done at the factory. No B.S., the fit is that precise.
Am I happy? You bet I am! Good luck with your decision.
P.s. I had it professionally installed, and had a seal on the tailgate installed too.

I though I would see just how much water I got in the bed without it... If I do see water in the bed I will most likely remove the pop out, drill a hole in it and reinsert it... or buy a replacement pop out and do the same.

Went with retrax pro mx
So far so good, nice quality top. No rattle, no noise. The canister size did freak me out a bit and it would be a problem if I tried to put a quad in the truck. But most everything else would fit under it. Second compliant is you can lift it away from the tailgate and see what is in your bed. I think they can come up with a better way to seal the tail gate. I have had 3-over rail covers on other trucks. So far my favorite feature is putting stuff in the tailgate without moving the cover!
