Quick connect is out of stock and unknown if it will be replenished.

Often amazes me people's inability to find things online. Simply Google the name and you'll find that black disconnect in white...

What secures the washer in the hole? I just ordered the part for local pickup for under $6, then will accumulate the rest of the items and do this spring. Or, next week, since Spring is now.

God forbid a rear camera getting dirty. Next thing you know people are going to want the rocks picked out of the tire tread automatically.

Often amazes me people making assumptions about other people. I simply looked at the link provided and commented on the out of stock notification on that link.

If i were seriously searching for the part I would easily be able to find it.

I would love that!

Seriously, if you live in a snow state, and you drive on a slushy day, the camera quickly becomes useless. I go to back up and cannot see anything. Truck has a big blind spot in back, so while the sensors are making noise it's nice to see. Read the threads about people not seeing the tree branch that was sticking down, etc.

Under $6 part, some hose, and a fitting or two. That's a $40 or so mod that seems pretty neat. My concern is making the hole square and putting it in the right place...

Nice work! Will look into this in the near future as a cheap & easy mod.
