Real world price?
no this is not another "oh my god the price is outrageous" thread…
I have no problems with the price that ford has put on the trucks at all, you get a lot of technology on these trucks over the 2014's and for ford quality compared to the competition, i'll pay the extra.
My question is this, i built mine on the build and price site and got an MSRP of $52,590, I do get X-plan, what would a real world, out the door, price to shoot for be? I don't know a lot about all the financial side of these deals, and I don't want some salesman getting the best of me.. thanks a lot for any help/advise y'all can give

You should have a code that will allow you to build directly on the Ford website with X plan pricing. Check with HR or whoever you get the Xplan with.

X-Plan should be about $4,000 - $4500 below retail, before any rebates.

Just tried it again and it worked fine. Choose a 2014, then when you get to the Ford build site go to the 2015 F150 section or go back to the main page go to future vehicles choose the 2015 Ford F150 and try from there. It won't let you choose it from the partner site, but once you get there go to the 2015 Ford F150 and it should work.

For some reason, certain dealers don't like using the formal x plan, and offer you pricing similar to or better than that final number. Once they know you are aware of the plan and pricing structure, you have a great baseline for negotiating. However you might have issues trying to get a new 2015 if demand is high for the new models. Might have better luck ordering one with a cash deposit? Good luck.
