Raptor Skid Plate on 2015 XLT
I've been looking for bolt on front skid plates for the 2015 that would work with a lift. Couldn't find anything I like so I bought a raptor front skid plate for $75 and decided to see if I could make it work. Only modifications I made to the plate was cut 2" off the back so it would fit and drilled 2 holes in the stock skid plate I was attaching it to. I think it turned out really well. Especially for $75.

Looks great, what all did you have to remove from the front bumper? And how does it attach in the front? How does the oil filter drain line up with the access hole?

I took off the air dam when i bought the truck but as you can see in the pics i had to cut a 3" strip out of the plastic under the bumper to get the skid to line up right. As far as attaching it to the front I loosened the Tow hooks up and put a thin piece of steel between the hooks and the frame and then attached the bolt from the skid to that. and the oil filter lines up perfectly with the access hole.
