I just don't like anything attached to the windshield. That's why I've been pleased with the blendmount. Looks almost like a factory option installed.

I'm also interested in a good mount or strong suction cup(s). I want an escort 9500 series with a mute button. The mute button would be routed somewhere where my right hand could easily click it - probably along the center console plastic piece. I'd consider a mirror mount as long as it did not hinder my vision at all. In my car I have it below the passenger sun visor, because anywhere else would get in my way.

Where are people wiring this to? Passenger footwell fuse box or engine bay fuse box? I believe I read there is a smaller micro fuse add a fuse piece that we would need? Subbed.

The wiring kit that comes with the mount from Amazon allows you to tap the power from behind the rear view mirror. It slides into the back of the wire harness on the mirror. Could not be any easier.

I went elcheapo, I used a rear bike deflector mount (one that fits a seat post).

Link? Does it have a mute button? I refuse to reach up every time radar is detected.
