Read the audio section of the forum and I'm sure it feels like everyone. But it's not. It's magnifying but the volume...

Everyone has their standards, and what they will accept, or not. I bought my 2013 with a $41K+ sticker, paying $38K+ X-Plan less rebates to around $31K. Great truck for $31K. Would I pay $60K for a truck? I don't think so, at least compared to what I own now.
I get there is a lot of people bitching on forums, however, when you see multiple threads with pages and pages of vital components failing. Rusting transfer cases, dashboard with bubbles, vibration in the gas pedal. The multiple electronic gremlins reported, the leaks from various places in the truck. There are a lot of treads and they are long with a lot of people reporting the same issues, to the point Ford issues TSB. It just seems they pulled the trigger too soon before testing everything and allowed the customer to be their beta testers.

15 and 16. I guess I'm lumping them together if that isn't fair please correct me. I really want a 2016 Platinum 4x4. But I'm scared of dropping 55k or so.

15 was a new model so there always going to be problems with a new model.

Navy, as already stated, most folks that post to this type of forum do so because they are having an issue and are trying to get assistance from other owners. It does not accurately represent the vast majority of owners. Very rarely do people post with positive experiences. Just the nature of the beast. For what it's worth, my 2015 has been great.

Talking Complaining or asking Fort to get better?

MY Truck: 2015 F150 XLT Crew Cab - Made 6/2015

I have worked with customers all my life... I had a trainer say it best... "Good Customer complain so you fix your issues and stay. Bad customers don't complain but leave." I don't feel I am "bitching" but complain to make Ford better.

I LOVE my truck, but I don't like being the "BETA" tester.

Many people have issues and never know it because they lack awareness of the issue. Then they come on a forum and read about issues and find them (or create them mentally in their heads). Ford does not create TSBs because a handful of people post problems...

Also, Ford sells close to 50,000 F-150s a month. Go to any thread and count the posters for a particular issue (if you want to waste your time doing that), ensuring you count each person once. Let's assume you come up with 500 (you won't). 500/600,000 F-150s = not even 1%.

I guarantee that if you had the 2015 vs. 2016 data, you'd see that 2015 was worse than previous years and 2016 is better than 2015. The only explanation is that it's a first year model. Everyone (sorry, couldn't help it) knows you NEVER buy the first year of a new model.

No issue is "a lot". No issue is "everyone". Not even close.
Except for defective airbags...
