Prices vs the Competition
First off i am a Ford guy through and through, but dropping 50+k on a new truck has got me comparing the big 3 when built out with comparable features and options. Mainly a Lariat with 502a package and KR 301a package. MSRPfor these range from 57-61k. When i look at GM and Dodge comparables i am finding their range between 49-54K!!! And they are all advertised at sell prices from 45-50K!!!
Am I crazy or has Ford really jacked up their prices as of late? As much as i am a ford guy, it will be hard to pay that kind of premium.
Appreicate any thoughts and experiences.

I also think later in the year when rebates get better that you can get higher discounts off the Ford. I was looking at a 2015 XLT $50,000+ MSRP and back in Oct could get $12,000 off. So I am thinking bottom line Ford and GMC may be close in price???

Look at the options though... IIRC, you gotta step up to Denali trim levels to get the cooled seats and a few other bits & baubles, whereas you can get those items on a Lariat.
Also, adaptive cruise control, park assist, panoramic moon roof, blis, cross-traffic alert... I know the first two aren't on the Sierra at all, and the last 3 I didn't see when I did a build & price, either.

I have always been a GM guy it seems, pretty happy with my 04 Sierra. Didn't even consider GM when I bought my new truck.

I'm sorry they don't work on everyone's truck, and my truck has an issue with the trans, so there's that.

The vibration issue has me worried. I was ready to take my 2015 F-150 to the local GM dealer but not after reading so many horror stories.
