Default prices vs. 2015 250

Just surprised by how much more the 150 cost on build and price than a 2015 250. I priced both as loaded as possible in an XL trim 6.5 box crew cab. The 250 was almost 4k less. I even added gooseneck prep and hitch to the 250, 4.30 rears and chrome package. Both had sync and cloth seats, tow mirrors and rubber floors(which is why I like and XL and now drive an stx so I could keep the floors). Theyou both had max payload configurations and upgraded tires and wheels too. I really tried to get it down to 250 vs. 150 being the only difference. Both were gas engine and the 150 was a 5.0. The 150 was rated for 10k towing and had HD payload the 250 was rated at 14900 tow and 3490 payload I think.

Wow seems like a no brainer to me if you can handle the gas mileage in a 6.2 F250. It will certainly be a more capable truck.

With similar options, the 2015 Platinum sticker is about $4k more than my 2014 Platinum sticker was. With all available options the 2015 Platinum is well over $60k.

Not apples and oranges, more like comparing a framing hammer to a heavy ball peen hammer. Similar, but different purposes for different users.
