Default Previous Raptor owners with a 15+

I'm curious to see how many of you guys are in my shoes. I traded in my 2010 raptor that I owned for 3 years for almost as much as I bought it for. I just couldn't pass up the deal. But now I find my self itching for another one and somewhat regret buying this truck. I love this new truck for the ride and tech features but it lacks the character the raptor had.

Any one else in my boat?

I miss my raptor so much I almost bought one at sticker with 30k miles. I am so pissed Ford isn't putting a V8 in the new one. I love the ecoboost power, but the best moments in the raptor where rolling down the windows while cruising down a trail and hearing that v8. I put on many miles, and miss that lincoln like ride.

Currently own a 15 3.5 eco with 32k miles on it. 10 months in.

Same here...my raptor had a soul, a provenance, a true joy to drive. The new lariat is neat w features but mostly just a point a to b kind of truck. Most people can't tell the difference in a xlt and my 502a lariat to be honest

Not quite the same...but I'm 2 months into my first automatic tranny truck. I drove my old manual truck for 9 years.

I love my new truck, the 5.0L more than trumps my old 4.2L. But it doesn't have the attitude my old one had. Grabbing that shaky stick and pushing it into gear and dropping the clutch and getting sideways was always fun.

I may be the opposite. I don't really miss my 14 raptor at all.

I had a 2012 and don't miss it. However, it was a street queen. I never used it for its intended purpose.

How come you didn't buy a 5.0? It's not quite as explosive as the 6.2 but it still has a similar feel. With an exhaust it would probably sound similar as well.

This is my second ecoboost. I like the engine in a normal truck. But for the raptor it doesn't fit the experience. The raptor without a v8 is like a martini with no olive.

Funny we are having the identical experience. I almost traded in my new truck after 4 months for a 2 year old raptor with 30k miles and a higher payment... I am also disappointed in Ford for not putting a V8 in the new one. That 6.2 rumble is unbeatable!
