I really like everything about the truck and think Ford did a great job. I really like the new center stack in the interior, however, I think the rectangular vents are a step backwards as Ford had a good look with the round vents IMO. I hate the F-150 windshield banner. I think it looks really tacky. Hopefully it is simply vinyl that can be removed and not in the glass. I really like all of the wheel designs. Those chrome 20's look awesome and especially with the Goodyear Adventures and not SR-A's. Hopefully that's not just a pre-production tire and those wheels will come with that tire.
Interesting that the sales guy said that ford is only marketing the ecoboost trucks as they know that people will buy the 5.0 regardless of any advertisements. They are really pushing the eco's. I am scheduled to drive this Sunday, so I will try to get some pictures and feedback.
Awesome pictures and reviews to those who have posted so far!

The door panel is hard plastic, but I think the quality is good. It's a Ford Pickup, not a Range Rover. The moon roof opens half way, the rear part of the roof over the back seats remains fixed. I don't remember where there was leather or not, it wasn't what I was focused on during the drive. But I can tell you that it just feels like an upgrade over the 14s I've seen.
I like the new vents over the round ones, minor quibbles. It rides great. It's quiet. They felt powerful. Sure I saw the vids of the 0-60 times of each engine type. I don't care if the 3.5 was 'faster' than the 5.0 by a few tenths... It sure as hell *sounded* better, and no need to pump fake sound to the cabin via loudspeakers.
My gut feeling tells me the new 5.0 w/3:73s is exactly what I want. I know what the capabilities are of this V8, it will deliver the best all around performance for my needs. Sure it will use more gas than the 2.7, but I will have the better throttle response I've grown accustomed to in my Mustang. I have faith that the Ford engineers tweaked this new version with increased hp/tq for the V8 lovers out there.

It looks like the only truck pictured with that big "F150" at the top of the windshield was the one that also had all sorts of vinyl lettering down the side advertising the new truck and the road-show they're doing. I'm guessing it's not something that will come on regular trucks.

Touche. But I honestly don't know what exactly some people are looking for re: door panels in Fords. They need to be tough, long lasting, be able to stand up to scuffing on the lower half and be able to withstand cleaning on the armrest and window opening with years of use. I've heard the same complaints from Mustang owners about the hard plastic door panels in all models, from the base V6 to the Shelby.
I know first hand the door panels are very well designed and engineered from having to get a 2nd set for my Mustang when I wanted to upgrade the speakers, and wasn't willing to cut up the original Boss panels. They are durable, tough, lightweight, seal up the door cavity tightly, which isolates the cabin from road noise and helps keep the cabin cool/warm as needed.
I paid close attention to the front and rear panels in all the Super Crews, and they look fine to me. Purposeful design, long lasting materials, and comparable to what you find on any of the domestic/foreign competitors.
I guess dealers will price the KR and Plats accordingly, but Ford does the bulk of their sales on the XLT, where my local dealer has a lot full of red tag specials with 10-13k discounts shown on 2014s. If you can afford one of the higher trim models, you are certainly within your right to complain about the price, but do you think anyone else really cares about your 1st world problems? That is a public 'you', not you specific to the posted reply.

I prefer the shifter on the console myself, and glad they have this option since I don't need the extra passenger space afforded by the bench seat. You may have to wait til the trucks hit the lot to check the ergonomics that fit your body type.

Or, y'know, it's not. The Range Rover isn't priced like it was last century, either.
A BASE Range Rover short wheelbase costs about what a fully-tricked-out Platinum AND a Focus ST cost together. If you equip the Range Rover similarly to the tricked-out Platinum (giant sunroof, adaptive cruise, etc) you could buy the Platinum AND a base Lariat at list for the price of the Range Rover, which is still the least-expensive short wheelbase naturally-aspirated model. Starting with the long-wheelbase Range Rover, you're at $106k before you've selected your first option.
