That has got to be hard to part with. I can't let go of my 96 f250 4x2 xcab 7.3.

The last truck I had was a new 1978 F-250 Supercab 4x4 351M XLT, drove that for a 132,000 miles and then went to a new 1987 Bronco II followed by 3 Explorer's, a 2006 being the latest.
Really EXCITED to be going back to a V8! A 5.0 Mid Lariat, Bronze Fire 4x4 6.5 box with all the chrome and leather buckets. T.P.

What amazes me in these posts as each and every one of these vehicles seems to be very well taken care of.
That is telling me something in what people feel as far as how good the 2015 Truck will be!

My original plan 2.5 years ago was to build this so I could skip the new truck purchase.
A 1966 F100/250 that cost 21.00 per year for license plates and 178.00 per year for full coverage to insure. The insurance savings alone would be HUGE!.
My quoted price to insure the new 2015 is over 1400.00 per year and I am a old fart with no tickets on record, no accidents & no claims in 8yrs.
This was my idea for having a lightweight 3.5L ecoboosted truck for MPG and Performance. Looks like Ford beat me to the punch!
Maybe if I hurry up and finish before the 2015 trucks are on dealer lots?
Edit add: I nearly forgot about the Eco Project but now thinking about the savings just in insurance would about pay me to finish it in just a couple short years. Not to mention the HUGE hit in depreciation it will be on the 2015. Hmmmmm

Replacing an '08 Infiniti G35... though, I'm still considering getting a '14 for 10-12k off MSRP vs the higher priced (I want the damn options) and no discount '15... I'd consider a used '13-14 but the new prices are better than used it seems. Though part of me is considering a SD and would really love to know more about what the '16 SD will offer...
