^^Exactly Seats are hot on my XLT within a minute, no matter what the Remote Start setting is. Best heated seats I have ever sat in!

Since I have the 5.0L, the gauge on the right is tranny temp. With the EB V-6s, it's a boost gauge.

16 out this morning. Remote start was about 15 min. No heat in the seats until I turned them on after I turned the key on. Setting is set to automatic. Makes me think if you don't have a heated steering wheel too that it just doesn't work.

Good new is all my doors opened

Also have XLT. 2015, with the 302a package. I can tell you from my experience that the seats do heat with the remote start, but only when it is freezing cold! Also, in my truck, I think they only heat in the lowest setting. They never get "hot". If I manually turn on my seats to the hottest setting, my **** is burning in 2 minutes and with the remote start they are barely getting warm after a 10-15 minute remote start.

Lariat SuperCrew w/ 502a here.

I have not found any combination of menu selections which will turn on the heated seat and/or steering wheel with remote start.

I leave it set to 'automatic' and even though it's phucking cold out, they never come on until I get in the truck and press the buttons.

I mentioned earlier that going from memory, colder than -10*C turns on the seats. That's about 14*F.

If this is the case.... What the he!! Were they thinking?

You sure it isn't +10C = +50F? This would make more sense.

I'm running a test right now. 27 F outside. Have a remote thermometer sitting on seat under a pillow that has been outside. After 5 minutes seat is now up to 40F.
3:00pm Engine has just dropped from fast idle.
3:05 engine stopped after ten minutes seat showing 50F
That's not what I would call warm..
3:10 peaked at 57 So climbed 7F degrees after engine stopped. Total raise of 30F with a ten minute run.. Must be the lag in the thermometer.

Now this was under a pillow that would trap the heat.. I'll have to try it
Without to see what happens,
