Is it possible? Heated seats with remote start?

Setting the remote start climate to automatic will have the truck turn things on based on temperature. I'm not sure the exact temperatures but I've noticed that front defrost always come on with temperature set to warmer temps the colder it is. At a lower threshold the rear window defroster and heated mirrors will also come on, and at an even lower threshold the heated seats will also come on. On the other end of the spectrum, if it's warm enough out, the air conditioning comes on.
If you leave your remote start settings to "last setting" it will only leave the HVAC controls in the same state they were when you turned off the truck. Turning on the rear defrost and heated seats before turning it off won't do anything. It won't turn them back on when you remote start, it'll only keep your HVAC settings the same.
EDIT: Ninja'd...
Yes you're right, you haven't had cold enough temps for your seats to come on.

I have an XLT as well and haven't had the heated seats come on when remote starting. I live in the south and the lowest temp I've remote started was 37. I believe the xlt only has two options: automatic and last settings. No options for seats and we don't have steering wheel heat. Maybe the trucks are smart and turn certain things on/off when needed but not sure.

There is no front seat & wheel option on mine. All I have is automatic and Last. Neither turns the seats on. Thinking those settings in the pic are for trucks with climate control.

Here is an insert from the owners manual but doesn't state if this is for all models and doesn't define "hot" or "cold" temps.
Automatic Settings
In hot weather, the system is set to 72°F
(22°C). The cooled seats are set to high
(if available, and selected to AUTO in the
information display).
In moderate weather, the system either
heats or cools (based on previous
settings). The rear defroster, heated
mirrors and heated seats do not
automatically turn on.
In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F
(22°C). The heated seats are set to high
(if available, and selected to AUTO in the
information display). The rear defroster
and heated mirrors automatically turn on.

Those are the same ones I use..was hoping I was missing something.
I remote started my truck it's 31F outside. Waited a few minutes and when out and sat in it. Seats and wheel are getting warm,, I think my problem is that I keep thinking they should be warm not always just trying to get warm.

Like I said above, maybe you're not getting cold enough weather either?

Be nice to know at what temp the seats turn on at and is it outside or inside temperature. Maybe it's inside temperature and they are turning off once the inside gets to 35F. So after running the truck for 15 minutes they are already off when I get in.
