I too would want that fixed.

That's not minor. That's pretty bad. Bad enough to nitpick for sure.

I didn't notice it until I saw it in the sunlight, we've had a lot of rain and gloomy days in Atl this fall. I plan to do a full inspection this weekend and ill post my findings.

With the orange peel it looks like splatter, almost like the gun was running out of paint

I remember a good number of years ago, right after 3m bought accuspray they came in with their new line of spray guns.

Salesman: "These spray guns are modeled after the robots in the factories! "

Us : "Yeah, we've seen the factory paint quality.... No thanks"

Sad that they recognize the issue but rather than fix it at the factory, they just continue to drive their reputation to the dirt

Agree..... or try to get a showroom vehicle. They normally put the best vehicle in there free from visible defects, paint issues, rust, misalignment and etc.

Some people complain about rusted components under the new trucks, and Ford seems to address those issues. But for Ford to issue a bulletin as the OP stated, that inside the door jams will not be repaired, come on, that's seen each and every time someone enters the truck. And Ford won't repair!

If that is truly the facts as the OP stated, Ford seems to be entering a new era, one I can't be proud of, but that's just me.

That is definitely missing some paint.I would fight to get that fixed.
Can the OP try Ford Customer Service on here or another dealer for help. That would drive me nuts, that is in such a visible spot. Unacceptable in my opinion

well, I see where they read this forum, so maybe they will read this thread and call/message me. I'm easy, I just simply want the paint fixed
I also provided them with an estimate to have the repairs performed, getting the local certified Ford collision and paint center to have it done for under $1500, so its not like its a lot of money to keep me happy and from dirtying up forums like this
