Default poor paint coverage, poor cust svc by Ford

so I purchased my 15 Lariat FX4 about a month ago. I ordered the truck as a custom build and waited 2 months for it. The day it arrived I was ecstatic, even videoed it being taken off the hauler. Signed the papers the next morning. its been raining a bunch in Ga, but within the first week I noticed a big problem.............the paint on the bottoms of the doors, the rocker panels and door jambs have major orange peel and poor to no coverage.
Being a svc mngr at a Ford dealer(at the time) I followed protocol and to get this issue resolved. We have taken every avenue, evening opening a customer care case with Ford, but they refuse the fix the poor paint quality on my $56,100 truck, stating that they have a new bulletin published October 14th that under the hood, jambs and under the lift gate areas are no longer warranted for paint.

So, BE CAREFUL when purchasing a new F150, or any Ford. I have the vin#'s and pics of dozens of new Fords that have these same issues!
Be WARNED, quality is not job #1 when it comes to paint and Ford will not stand behind or correct this poor looking product
Here are some pics for reference.

I have worked in dealerships for 23 years and I have never seen a manufacturer put out a product like this and not stand behind it, much less the service I received from them while trying to get this resolved

check your trucks

Im sorry. It I don't see the problem. Most of these areas you'll never see. Don't let such small stuff ruin you enjoyment. That's my tip. There are more important things in life to worry about.

I've worked in dealerships for over 20 years too.

I've seen plenty of cars and trucks with unfinished or partially finished under hood or door jambs. It's not uncommon. I've never heard of anyone complaining about it or having it repaired under warranty.

It's not a big deal IMO.

My truck has a few little bad spots in the paint too, whatever, it's still a nice truck.

X2. ENJOY the truck and worry about stuff that really matters, like your kids education.

Me too, but only 6 years in dealerships as a painter. I agree that it's hugely common across all manufacturer's(I worked for Ford for 6 years, but every dealer also had another brand as well, Nissan I would say is the worst). But disagree about no one ever complaining. I have painted countless door jambs for this reason. The op's is pretty bad

Thank you mbullock. I've sent several out for poor paint quality, but now Ford has changed their policy, which is bs in my opinion.
