Default Platinum Delivered - Part 2

Hey All,

I've been quiet the past few days while getting everything squared away. For those of you who dont know, I had ordered a Priority 20 from a dealer, was delivered, and before I could get there to pick it up it was sold to another customer. Being upset, I contacted several people from Ford and explained the situation, everybody I was in contact with was very helpful, and even offered an xplan pin for when I did purchase a truck (I already had a pin but that's besides the point) - the dealer was being "dealt with internally and will answer for their actions" - that's all I wanted to achieve.

Months ago, while placing the order I had the idea to order two platinums from two different dealers. I did this for a variety of reasons:

- I was trading in my car, and if a dealer tried to really screw me over (since they would think this guy waited months for the car, he will take any deal) I would have the ability to walk away
- Incase the truck came in and something wasnt right with it, I would have the ability to walk away
-Incase the dealer sold it to another customer instead of me for a higher sticker price, and I wouldnt have to wait months for another truck (exactly what happened).

Good thing I ordered two of the exact same trucks as an insurance policy, because it paid off.

I just got home from the dealer, below are some pics. I will take better pics tomorrow in the day light. The only thing not right with this truck is it's missing the chrome trim piece under the passenger side window. I contact Mike Levine about this, and he right away contacted production line saying "that should have never seen the light of day" he has been VERY helpful throughout all my issues.

Let me know if you guys have any request of pics, measurements, etc....and I'll do my best to get you all the info!

Brunello Interior...nice touch!

Let us know about the LED head lighting.

Nice truck. congrats!

How does the whole body feel...aluminum wise...do the doors sound different when closing? tailgate? etc?

The first comment I had actually to my wife was how great the headlights were. They are awesome....very bright at night, nice even distribution, no hot spots.

One thing that I do question is why are there no parking sensors in the front of the truck!?!? I use the 360 to get close, but parking sensors would be way more accurate.

Congrats on having the sense to make a Plan B and Kudos to Mike Levine who is the most interactive guy in the Ford Industry.
That Brunello is a hard read for it's true color. The front seats look like dark wine and the back looks like dark brown. What's your take Dan?

I noticed Fords still using the same cheap black engine cover for the EB!

I really like the brunello interior.
I have five vehicles and four have all black interior...fifth one is black and grey.

Some color is nice... good choice.
