Default payload

come on guys... someone post a picture of the yellow sticker on the door. I cant stand it anymore. WTH is the payload on these things. I cannot wait to dump my 13 on a new one...or a f250.

It seems so far... most decked out trucks with a 3.5 and non max payload (since you can't get a decked out truck w/ max payload anyhow) seem to be in the 1500+ range.
But, I'm with you... I'd love to get more #s to see what options do what to the payload to see how I'd want to configure a truck. For instance the sunroof likely adds 75-100 lbs.

Anyone with trucks, please post payload and vin (or complete spec/options)

Can the dealer not figure it out for you? The numbers on the build site seem to be higher than what we actually see on the trucks being delivered.

I haven't seen an official payload worksheet for 2015, so I'm not sure the dealer can calculate it or not. In regards to the website, its flat out wrong. It shows the same base GVWR for XLT, Lariat, KR, and platinum, which for sure is not the case.

I'm interested in this info as well. I currently have a 2011 SCREW ecoboost max tow with lariat package, 5.5 bed, chrome package, and moonroof that gives me 1715 lbs of payload. I was hoping to upgrade to a similar equiped 2015 and maybe the longer bed and get and extra 250 to 300lbs of payload.

If you get the hd payload you may get that... but you can only get the base lariat with that option, just fyi.
Otherwise, I think if you get a similar lariat without hd payload, you'll likely end up near the same or a bit less of payload. Biggest reason, they no longer add any payload/gvwr for the max tow package.

GVWR on '14 was 7200 or 7650 (max tow)
GVWR on '15 is 7000... not sure what the # is for hd payload options.

Does your 2011 actually say 1715 on the yellow door sticker? That is a much higher number than I have seen on any previous model years and also higher than similarly configured 2015 Lariats I've seen so far.

Yep. It's on the yellow sticker. It will be a bummer if I can't find a 2015 to match or beat this with all the similar equipment I have.

I saw a 2015 Lariat that seemed to be similarly equipped as your 2011 with 1628 on the yellow sticker. What happened to that 700 lbs they dropped by using aluminum?

They lowered the GVWR on them even though it's the same style frame and same axles. Not sure what their logic is.
