Good call on the excessive tape-off job. I did my frame an some other trouble areas on my 04 last weekend. This stuff travels, and gets everywhere. The "fog" seems to carry the particulate pretty far.
Usually you don't want to paint in the wind, but I'd suggest it with this stuff. Let a stiff breeze carry the excess away from areas you don't want overspray on.

I painted mine black with VHT Epoxy Paint,i don't have pictures but it looks a lot better then it did when it left the factory!!!!
