Default Painted or chrome bumpers?

Looking for clarification. I ordered lariat 502a package with 2 tone paint last week. When ordering at dealership and when building on Fords website, bumpers say they are chrome. Obviously 502a pkg comes with chrome pkg which is what I attributed the chrome bumpers to. However when I search dealers stock online I see painted bumpers on every truck with 2 tone paint. I have yet to see any truck with chrome bumpers and 2 tone paint. Am I missing something??

I've seen the XLT with chrome bumpers and two tone and also seen Lariat's with the chrome bumper and painted end caps. That's typically what they do with the higher end models since it looks better IMO

Aren't the painted bumpers on the Sport packages? There are XLT chrome packages, XLT sport packages, Lariat chrome packages and Lariat sport packages, yes/no?

That's correct. Just checked with the Stealership and they confirmed if it is a Lariat that says "chrome bumper" that means the bumper is chrome with painted end caps according to your order description. But that's the dealership talking and we know that ain't always accurate.

I assume that means my truck will have painted end caps. I thought the 501a pkg was the fully painted bumpers on Lariats but I've seen photos of 502a with fully painted bumpers and some with painted end caps. When I ordered mine the only option was "chrome bumper".

Per Ford, and I quote, "Magnetic lower two-tone paint is optional on the XLT with equipment groups 301A and 302A. Caribou lower two-tone paint is optional on LARIAT* with equipment groups 501A and 502A. Caribou lower two-tone paint is standard on King Ranch®.*Front and rear chrome bumpers are replaced with front and rear accent-color bumpers and standard body-color wheellip moldings are replaced with accent-color wheellip moldings when Two-Tone Paint is selected on LARIAT and King Ranch®"

So it looks like it's the entire bumper for the Lariat that is painted to match if the two tone was selected and not the end caps like the dealer suggested.

Ok. Thanks. That's more along the lines of what I've seen. I'm surprised it doesn't accurately depict the truck on fords website when I build it.
