Ordering a fast 15' f150?

3.5EB is running mid 14s stock in the supercrew and a tune will net mid to low 13s. A smaller truck and possibly a 2WD will be even better. I don't see any reason why a truck with an intake, full exhaust, custom tune, and some sticky tires wouldn't be awfully close to high 12s.
SC 2wd 3.5 ecoboost might be quick, or even a RC 8' bed 2wd.
I bet Ford is saving the ecoboost 3.5 RCSB for some special edition like the tremor.

RCSB 5.0. Should be running high 13's to 14 flat stock. The previous gen are running mid 14's with 3.55 LS or locker. The 15's lose 500 pounds, gain 25 HP and a bit more torque. Mid 13's should be attainable with a program. RCSB trucks have the sportiest feel. The RCSB 5.0 will only weigh about 4,200 pounds. Add Nitrous for occasional 11 second blasts with traction bars.

If i wanted to order a "fast" truck and had the funds I'd be getting a rcsb XL 2wd with the 101A and the sport package, 5.0 3.55 ELD. Then I'd be installing a roush blower and exhaust, if you want additional versatility the Scab won't add more than a few hundred pounds and you get the benefit of usable back seats.

Having seen several flavors of the 2015 go down the drag-strip, my money on a stock 2015 is on the 3.5 EcoBoost, easily.
If you want upgradability, though, I think the 5.0 trumps it there. There's supercharger kits available for the 5.0 and both are proven packages.
