50 hp/45 ft lbs. That alone would make people think , fords transmissions are weak and can't hold up to the daily uses of a truck.

They'd fix it and move on because of this.

What are some of the more reliable tune companies out there? I'm looking for reliable companies with modest performance in mind. Thanks guys.

We do not have any experience with warranty voidance. We do always advocate being honest if asked about any modifications. Here are two articles that are a good read if you are concerned about your warranty and modifications.

The Magnuson Moss Warranty act is written for warranty protection when using aftermarket parts like Fram, or Purolator filters. BTW, I wouldn't use a Fram oil filter on ANY engine!

This statement would apply to specific items called out in the warranty that would not be covered, which tuners are specifically called out in the Ford powertrain warranty:

Read your warranty. Often bundled with your owner’s manual, the warranty gives a general
description and specific details about your coverage.

@Takeda – I’m curious, what is the ultimate outcome you’re trying to achieve by continually preaching about potential warranty implications and Tunes? You’re obviously not in support of tuning, correct, so why opine every time the topic of tuning comes up?

I don’t particularly like loud exhausts but I don’t bother posting that in threads where people who do are asking about them as it doesn’t add any value or helpful information to the OP.

I'm against anybody trying to post false information that a tuner won't void a manufacturer's powertrain warranty.

You might want to evaluate your comments then if your goal is to try and “correct” false information. A tune does not automatically void your warranty, powertrain or otherwise – You’re categorically wrong if that is what you’re saying. Does it have the potential, yes, and the lion share of people are well aware of that.

In case you missed it, here's an example just from today where a member's engine blew and Ford never even asked or discussed that the engine was tuned (most likely because they recognized it was a defect in the engine from the start):

You're wasting your time and effort. It will never end.

Posting your personal experience or articles of value does not constitute "posting false information."

Thread after thread it's the same people who come in and ruin them. Posting their opinions once or even twice is not enough but over and over and over and.....
