He guys... Question for you all.

I personally really dislike the mismatch of the handle of my tailgate being white with a black surround. In your opinions which would look better?

1 - Paint the Black Surround White around the White Handle to match

or...

2 - Paint the White Handle Black to match the Black Surround

Paint it black. Then paint the blue oval Black as well. With painting it black it will match the rest of your truck. Since all the plastic is black. Just my .02 though

I dig the look personally. And personally I would leave it just like it is.

But given the choices I'd paint the handle black.

Definitely gonna do the logo in Black and the Chrome part will do in Black Chrome finish.

I'd paint the surround white to match the door handles.

I have the same dilemma with mine, I used plastidip to turn the oval white and would like the black surround of the handle to be white. You could always spend $10 on two cans of plastidip and test out the combos prior to painting. Or photoshop if you have it.

I personally like the black on white. But given you want to change it I would paint the handle black to match the black surround since all the trim is black. Or paint ALL trim on truck to white.

I love the White / Black combo of my truck too. I hate chrome, pinstriping or anything that looks out of place! I definitely am not gonna paint ALL the trim white!

I appreciate the thoughts on it and that is the only area I'm thinking of doing any color changes... Love everything else about it!

I'd go black if you are going to change it.

Could you just get a handle from a base model truck? Mine is black.

I have a Xlt with the chrome handle, I painted my black bucket white to match the rest of the truck.
