The passengers side is where mine got so bad. Right up to the windshield. The rest of it is no where near this bad.

I think it must start on front drivers side go down and up on the passenger's side and stop at the windshield. The stopping part may be where it has it's biggest problem.

Love my truck, except 1 thing is bugging me, It does not want to drive straight,
If on outerside of highway it pulls to the right (road crown) so always pulling back on steering. so then if go in fast passing lane, it pulls to the left. Thought was maybe alignment as pulling to the right, but if it then pulls to the left in the other lane, What could it be? Could it be because of the wider tires, and just a normal thing due to the road crown.
Do your f150's drive straight when you let go of the wheel? As I did a test with my F350 on same roads and it does not do this, It rolls along pretty straight on the same roads. Nor did my 2009 F150. But their tires were not as wide as these Goodyears.

Will bring her into the dealership I guess, As it is the only item that is bugging me, But it is very tiresome thing always pulling back on the wheel either way.

Mine is straight, I would also have them check the alignment. Check your air pressure too. Mine was over 8 pds above the recommended, 44 and 45.

I agree..the seam sealer is NOT an issue. It's obviously within their spec limits or else they would have no deviation. People that are worried about something on the roof (above the average height of anyone in the states or abroad) needs to relax and try not to look to hard. Trust me there's worse things Ford is on their vehicles than this (not necessarily bad things, just not to the same level as other manufacturers). In most cases, you really DO get what you buy from considering all aspects of a vehicle. Ford is in the business to make an affordable vehicle that appeals to the masses, is reliable, and looks good. They're doing their part (along with just about everyone in the automotive industry now, generally speaking) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend they vehicles to value minded shoppers.

I was coming out of the woods on a single lane jeep trail with a 12 degree slope. The trail had been a crusty snow pack consistency going in. It had been above freezing all night and the snow had now turned to glare ice. I tried going down as slow as possible. I had my foot buried in the brake peddle, but the ABS (auto pulsating) brake feature did not work. The tires broke loose and the truck bounced off both banks all the way down like it was a 2 1/2 ton pin ball. Thankfully both banks were heavily snow covered and I did no damage. The truck is going in the shop on Thursday.

Did the truck skid on the ice or would the brakes not hold it? I drive on ice all the time and abs is only so smart and can show issues. A lot of the time on ice you can hit the brakes and the truck thinks it has come to a rest as all 4 brakes hold all 4 tires stationary because there limited friction between the tires and the ice. Therefore the abs doesn't initiate and away you go.

I wonder if hill decent would have worked in this scenario as you would not have applied the brakes.

Boy - good thoughts. Looking back - I think that the tires were NOT revolving. I was just sliding on this wet shiny ice. So maybe that's it - the truck thought I wasn't moving and did not try to engage ABS. Also I have hill decent but it never occurred to me to engage it. The temps here are finally rising above freezing. I might not get an opportunity to try this again for some time. I may not be able to figure this out unless the mechanics can pull something out of their diagnostics...

Do either of the other trucks have electronic power steering? One thing I have noticed about the EPAS is it does not seem to have the same feel at center on the highway as hydraulic power steering.

Why can't Ford build a quite truck. When telling the dealer about it all they would tell me is to turn the radio up, jokingly but still not for almost 60k. It should be better at handling wind noise than this. Anyone else notice the wind noise?
I have noticed the same thing with my 15 Platinum. I get the wind noise and also a whistling noise at speeds above 60. I am taking a road trip this weekend for Easter then dropping it off at the dealer when i get back. I took a video of the whistling noise for the dealer. Everything else with the truck seems to be perfect.
