No subwoofers on 2015s?
I went and drove the 2015 King Ranch today. Awesome truck with one possible problem. The dealer told me that subwoofers aren't an option right now. You can order aftermarket Kicker ones, but they are dealer installed. No Sony amp, etc. Has anyone heard this yet? I can't imagine buying a 61k truck with no factory sub. The stereo sounded REALLY bad.
They had 5 of them with the Sony system, none of them had subs.

pics!
Are the speakers in the front and back components? tweet/mid seperate? I noticed in say a Jeep Grand Summit they have nice HK component speakers.
I hope the internal speakers are NOT paper 6x5's/6x9's? I dont want to rip off a plat's doors to replace them!

I was just at a dealership looking at a 2015.
It was one of the first things I looked go because I always hated where the sub was mounted on my 2013. I lifted the seat where it used to be and nothing was there! Then I bent down a little more and there it was! Tucked way back behind the old spot, a much better idea!
I am not sure if they repackaged it and made it smaller or if it sounds as good but it is a much
Better packaging job. I think the old one was an
Afterthought, this time it was designed in.

So now you know it has subs, I'm sure it will "sound great". Krikey, hardware junkies.......

I'm pretty sure they are paper. I haven't see any of the factory speakers that weren't paper. I've been spoiled with Dynaudio systems in Volvo's so the first thing I did with Ford trucks was replace all the speakers.
