Default No STX for 2015

I was checking out the build your truck on the Internet. And found out there is no STX for 2015. There is a sport package on the XLT that has the painted bumpers.

Yes, BUT as soon as you check off that "sport pkg" most of the decent color choices vanish.

I just don't get it.

There's no FX4 either, this has been known for a while. Such is life when model years have a major upgrade. Time marches on and old packages and options are dropped, and new ones take their place. This year Ford dropped a few extra models, but the public still has a ton of choices.

Hmm I wonder if this will boost 2013-14 fx4 prices seeing as how they aren't produced anymore.

XL + Sport package = XLS
XLT + FX4 offroad + Sport package = FX4
Lariat + FX4 offroad + Sport package = FX4 leather.

We've known this for a long time.
Of course, 2014 FX4 401A + 3.5EB + FX-Appearance pkg is $39.8k x-plan; while a 2015 lariat 501A + 3.5EB + FX4 + sport pkg is $44.4k x-plan, so there is a bit of a price discrepancy (and all the standard features of 2015 vs 2014) there.

I like the sport package because it has the center console with cloth seats but hate the only wheels that are available with the package.

If you are talking about the 20' with 6 straight spokes, that is actually my favorite wheel of all, but I just went to the build and price and couldn't find them anywhere.

I think Ford should unbundle the wheels and paint colors and let people get whatever they want.
