Default No Roof Platinums, common

hey guys, newby here. On plenty of forums, guns and motorcycles.

are No-Roof Platinums common or uncommon

I'm on the verge of closing a deal on 1, and if its rare the dealer has a point for keeping the price high.

sticker is just over $54k, and I'm down to $48k but that's incl. $1k in dealer BS (nitrogen/wheel locks/seat treatment), so hopefully i'll get it for $47k

BTW, its a V8 S-crew

is that a good deal?

I'm in a hot climate and don't use the sunroof on our current car now. plus I was really looking at a Lariat and adding my own power floorboards. but WTH it's not a lot more for the Plat.

I have 502a packaged Lariat priced at $43k

all prices are before taxes.

TIA

Hard to say. Local dealer had 4 platinums on the lot, 2 had the moon roof and 2 did not. Mine will have one because if I am going to spend that much on a truck I might as well get all of the bells and whistles

Dealer has a couple I know that one doesn't have a moonroof. If its a 6.5 box plus no moonroof with a 36 gallon tank I would say it is rarer.

I didn't realize Ford was making convertible F-150 now.

Pretty cool

There's always a fu**ing comedian somewhere. Usually providing no input along with no laughs.

I have a 2wd Platinum with Max Towing, no moon roof, 6 1/2 ft. bed, and 36 Gallon Tank. I did it for the increased cargo capacity, maintenance and fuel economy/range. I've never been comfortable with that much glass above my head anyway.

F150's are so common, nothing should be considered rare. At least not enough to demand a premium.
