Motor Trend was just providing info on one specific Lariat variation...it was easily read out of context and/or misinterpreted. When I take delivery of my Lariat 4X4 2.7 Screw short-bed, you can come over and take a test drive.

Ya, why would they only offer the Scab when the Screw is much more popular.

I believe it means that they are only offering the 6.5 foot bed with the super cab model and that the supercrew can only be gotten with the 5.5 foot bed.

If that do that , this is also a mistake......lots of SCREW owners love the longer bed.

You can still get the 6.5 bed with the supercrew in the lariat. I just built one at the dealer.

I took it as you got at least the scab i.e. no reg cab option, which I don't agree with. Maybe someone wants a reg cab with leather & such... If you can't get a lariat screw 6.5' box then dads hauling the 96 PSD for a redo then.
