If you want leather you have to go Lariat and up. Bench seats limit you to Lariat and below. Looks like you found your trim level.

You can get an XLT with the 302A package. That gives you heated seats. Then you can pay $2400 and the dealership will take the cloth seat covers off and give you leather.

My in laws just did this. Saved them $$$ over going to a lariat.

I used it when I ordered my truck. The build and price will make things appear and disappear without any explanation.

Disagree. XLT crew 4x4 302A short wheelbase w/5.0-

MSRP-$45460

Lariat crew 4x4 501A w/5.0-

MSRP-$47960

Your inlaws actually paid more than an equivalently equipped lariat. and they lost out on things like push button start, power fold mirrors, etc.

Your trucks are cheaper in the US. $60K for the lariat and $54K for the XLT after adding leather. Yes they miss out on push button start but it's not worth the $6K.

XLT interior is pretty blah compared to the Lariat.....just looks cheap to me.
My initial plan was to get an XLT with heated cloth seats but after sitting in both I really don't like the cheaper interior.
Personal preference of course....
