0% financing ends Today!

40k for that loaded truck sounds like a good deal. The models I saw discounted 10-13k were only the XLTs and STX they had on the lot. The few Lariats and Plats they had did NOT have the red tag sale tags on them. That seems to indicate that the dealer figures to make a decent profit on the leather seating luxury models, and make far less profit on the 'pedestrian' lower optioned models. Oddly enough, not one FX-4 on the lot, just a crap ton of XLTs and STXs.

Sounds like a deal to me. I'm in the same area (NoVA) and have not found a deal like that in my month long search. Especially if the $2500 is off the 40K.
Hope you made the deal!

Yup, really good deal. If you like the color, than it's an even better deal.

You should never fall for the "0% financing ends today". It didn't, and it usually wouldn't. It's now good until 1/5/15, although Ford could cancel/lower/improve it at any time.

There is $1,500 customer cash rebate on that, plus $1,500 trade assistance rebate, OR $1,000 Ford credit cash (if you take the 0% financing) plus the trade assistance.

You should go to a site like Edmunds and see what the invoice price is on that. Note the fine print on their offer doesn't include a $589 processing fee and freight, so you'll be adding close to $1,800 to that price. And they are comparing to the MSRP which includes freight, yet they haven't added it.

I did just that, hoping that others will read this post and see how they can get to the true numbers.

The MSRP on that truck, built in mid-July, with discounts is $52,155. Edmunds comes close today, $52,445, with an invoice of $46,993 or roughly 10.4% off the sticker, so roughly your invoice would be $46,731 (ask the dealer for the Vincent printout on that truck which shows invoice, rebates, X Plan, etc.).

They're advertising $41,961 PLUS $1,195 freight (assuming that's what they charge) = $43,156 plus the other fees. So it APPEARS to be a good deal, but you don't know what rebates they are including (read their fine print). You need to know if you'll get all those rebates, or if some are excluded. In short, you need to strip all the rebates out of their price so you can see how they compare to invoice BEFORE rebates, and then figure out the rebates you qualify for.

And your $40k is not the price they are advertising...

I just, 1 month ago, got a '14 SCrew boost fx4 5 year 100k mile ESP bumper to bumper-sticker
I got $10k off

I drove a couple hours to get it. The reason? My local ford deal quoted me on a similar 2013 MSRP and wouldn't budge. Don't know how they stay in business with deals like that.

Read a clip about Ford will loose 3 months of production on 2014 units because of retooling for the new model. You would think they will want to hold up there profits on what is left.

Other side of that coin is that Ford is losing market share, and they may want to boost some sales numbers. Especially on the '15, because they want to show how big of a success it will be. I think once the initial run of "gotta have it first" people finishes up, there will be some incentives to get the '15s out there.
