Default New F-150 ads poke fun at Chevy.......

I had to laugh when I viewed the new F-150 T. V. ads from Ford. The spots are titled ' The Truck Kings for 40 years'. A well designed commercial that clearly pokes fun at Chevy and their attack ads against the F-150's aluminum body. The dumping of the bricks was great! Now where is my 8-track player.......

Yea, if only the doors -- you know -- stayed latched under 32 degrees. That would be nice for the king of trucks.

Doors that unlock when its cold out ? I just think your asking a lot.
But I just see a chevy ad that has every make and model that chevy makes lined up showing each with the JD power award in front of them. Its very confusing to see Ford is truck of the year, by MotorTrend and chevy has won every JD Power award going...don't get me wrong, I love Fords.
But the claims of winning every award going is nuts. Maybe there is just a lot of awards ?
At least Dodge shows there truck towing and makes the claim.."see we suck...but we can tow this trailer with skidsteer".....no award claims

The whole "best selling truck" mantra is garbage. GM's Silverado/Sierra sales have eclipsed F150 sales several times since then, but they consider Silverado/Sierra separate brand trucks. So it's only partially true.

Not really. Exact same truck. Different branding/front grill. Both made by General Motors.

The way they have it worded I'm sure it is 100% true... "The best-selling trucks in America for 40 straight years. It's not luck. And it isn't coincidence" Its also not hard to believe since the F-Series consist of everything from F150 through F750 commercial truck

Yeah. All in the wording. Ford far outsells GM in the heavy duty truck segment even if you combine GMC and Chevrolet. So I guess if they worded it as "Total F series v. Total any other brand truck" it's true.
