Default New To The 2015 Club! Questions About Leveling Kit

I recently traded in my 2013 Mustang GT for a 2015 XLT in IS. Plan on doing a leveling kit/tint here pretty soon!

Question is, I had a 2013 STX 4x4 F150 SC. If I remember correctly, I paid right around $350 for a 2.5" RC Leveling Kit installed and aligned. Now I called 4WheelParts about leveling this truck. According to them, there are differences and the cost is going to be over $800?

Can anyone verify those differences for me? I was shocked when he said $800 haha!

Any help would be appreciated!

The strut assembly does have to come out, but I think 800 sounds high. Here is our video on a basic spacer kit being installed.

Didn't the '13 have to have that pulled out as well to install the spacer on top?

you can buy a number of spacer kits for around $100.

install it yourself with a buddy and a case of beer and some tools in a few hours.

Or pay a shop $100/hr to do it.

Looks like a fairly straightforward installation. I doubt I'll ever get one but it's nice to know how easy it is to install.
