Default Need opinions on which one I'll buy!!!

1) lariat crew cab 2.7 sport package - color: blue / 501a WITHOUT moonroof (43,995$)
2) lariat crew cab 2.7 fx4 chrome package - color: metallic / 501a WITH moonroof (45,203$)
3) lariat crew cab 3.5 ecoboost chrome- color: metallic / 502a WITHOUT moonroof (45,475$)

Now some info for you- I am going to do a 39 month lease to buy- buying because I drive lots of miles. Currently I don't tow anything and drive all highway miles- ~24,000 miles per year

I'm leaning toward option 2 since it has fx4 package along with moonroof but looking to see what you guys think!

Get the one with the 502A package. Otherwise you'll miss out on some better options than the moonroof.

Whatever you do don't LEASE-to-BUY any of them!

Finance it from the beginning and shop around for an interest rate. Current rates are 1.5 - 1.99% for 60-72mo and will still be cheaper than leasing and then buying at that BS 6.99% and $8-9k DOWN garbage. Search online for the INVOICE price and don't pay a dime more than that. If you haggle and have rebates you can get it for BELOW INVOICE!

Personally I'd get the 3.5TT but if you do that much driving the 2.7TT would save you over the long run..

Other than those sweet looking headlights what comes with the 502a? Oh the better speakers too right?

Well I was quoted at a 5.5 rate and only 1,000 dollars down its like 660/month and that's with like 3 grand rolled in from negative equity

My opinion is the moon roof is worthless. How often do you actually use a moon roof? Enough to justify a whole truck for it?

To me the decision between the 2.7 and 3.5 is easy since you don't tow. The 2.7 is very nice on fuel if you keep it stock. If you plan the level and add bigger tires I can imagine it will be boosting a lot and therefore lose its mpg advantage.

I guess the biggest 2 questions are this: Do you want to keep it stock? And how important are LED headlights to you (along with the rest of the 502A)? I love my 2.7 but I will tell you this. The money I am spending to add the LED headlamps alone has basically shown me that i did not save anything by going with the 501A over the 502A. These packages only save you money if you are happy with them and do not plan to make major modifications.

At the end of the day all 3 will be very nice trucks

I would keep it stock for probably the first 3 yrs for sure, then maybe a level with some 33's at most.

They're basically the same price, it weird according to the stickers it's basically the same mpg? 2.7- 18/23. And the 3.5 gets 17/23
However, less power in the 2.7, brand new engine so who knows if things can go terribly wrong?
The pros of the 2.7 are the moonroof which I think is really sweet and it has the fx4 package
The pros of the 3.5- engine has been around longer, more power, led headlights, and the premium sound system.

What's your price leasing vs buying? I drive a few more miles than that a year and didn't think leasing made sense.

FWIW I'd do truck 1 or 3.

I chose option 3 (pretty much) and LOVE IT!!!
It's hard for us to tell you what YOU like, but the 502A LED headlights, sound system and other nice benefits are worth much more than a sun roof to me.

Have fun shopping!!!
