Default My speedo is out of whack!

So I stopped at the gas station on my way home, shut off the truck, got out and filled up. After I pull out of the gas station I look down the the analog speedo is showing 110mph! The digital speedo still works, the anolog seems to be reading 60+mph high. Even with the truck shut off the needle still stays at around 60mph.

Anyone else ever have this issue? Any known fix other than taking it to the dealer? The dealer I purchased feom is 5 hours away, not sure I trust any of the local dealers around here.

I'm gonna tell you what our IT guy always said: "reboot it and see if it fixes it"

as in, disconnect the battery for a while and see if it helps. otherwise I have nothing, sorry.

As epopat suggested, I would unhook battery for 10 minutes or so and see if that clears it up. If it works and it does it again in the future I would go ahead and take it in. On the bright side you could make some cool youtube videos at those speeds.

Its broken and the dealer is your option, under warranty. Good luck and enjoy your new truck!

Hey alping45,

Let me know if that trick doesn't hold; I'll be here.

LMFAO I had an idea this was going to be something I didn't want to see but I fell for it anyway.
