Default My Lariat Sport "build"

Not going near as crazy as some seem to do on a build, and I really even hate to call it a "build." Started with a Lariat Sport 2wd, EB, 3.55's, 502A, Tech package, etc... Never really planned on doing much except for painted the ovals and emblems, and doing something with the magnetic colored grille and bumper center.

How she was delivered to the dealer

Tint was the first thing to be addressed, and I decided to go with 15% all around with 60% applied to the entire windshield. Visibility is still good at night, but it really cuts down on the heat and visibility looking through the windshield.

I ride like this for a few weeks, then started seeing all these leveled trucks with slightly larger tires. I started searching the local CL ads as well as forums for tire deals and lucked out. Ran across a slightly used set of Terra Grappler G2's for a good price. That was it, here come the suspension mods! Picked up the tires and decided a 2.5" AS kit was what the truck needed to pull them off. I also had a set off OEM 4wd blocks from my '13 in the attic, so if needed I could use them to adjust the rear depending on how it looked after the front was done. Blocks ended up going in...

I just thought I as done, but didn't care for how far the wheels tucked in the fenders. Once again, I ran across a deal on a set of near new BORA spacers here and jumped on the deal. Spacers were installed last night and pictures were soon to follow...

And the latest pictures from this morning after a good bath

Plans from here include Ford rear fender liners (on the way), color match the emblems and ovals, match the grille to the wheel color, paint the center section of the bumper white, Amp steps and MAYBE a set of American Forces if I can make myself save for them.

Looks great without going too crazy which is what it sounds like you were going for. I think the added color matching will look real slick.

Pulled the emblems/ovals/grille this weekend to go ahead and do a little paint work on them. Matched the chrome on the ovals/emblems and the grille as close to the wheel color as we could get, and I'd say it's dang close since the wheels are a weird finish.

NICE looking truck. The aggressive sidewall tires made the truck. I didn't realize if you had a 2 wheel drive, you didn't get the Hankooks.

Glad to see you pulled the ghay radar stickers off the taillights as well.

Nice paintwork on the grille. Post up some pics when you get it back together. Also good to see the front license plate bracket go. That was the first thing I ripped off mine before I even left the dealer.

This is how it looked on my last truck. Hoping it turns out as good on this one.
