Lol! I agree completely! I was a little misled when I ordered my truck thinking when the salesman showed me an F150 Lariat on the lot with the 502 package, that the 501 package I purchased would have the LED lights, which I specifically confirmed with him. Surprise! two weeks after the order was in production I learn the LED lights he was reading were the tail lights. Not headlights. I was pi$$ed, but really had nothing to stand on. So I looked at the Raptor Retrofits as an alternative; but likewise, not at nearly $2000!

Somebody, probably many people, are out there paying that. Great for them. I had the LED headlights and they are really nice. Not $2000 nice though. $2000 would get me through most of the mods I want to do, including a tune, minus new tires. I priced everything and aside from installing the lift it should run me about 2900.
I'll just work some OT here and there and try to save up. I got another kid on the way and the wife will be taking some time off work. I'll be smart for once and just ride it out. Worst case scenario is I get higher MPGs for a while before the lift/tires/tuner/exhaust

So a D-bag down the street from me just bought a new lifted GMC and pushed me over the edge to get my tires/wheels... Was able to sell my stock set and only lay out another $750...
Went with Rockstar 1 rims, 18x9.5; zero offset and Nitto Grappler G2s, 325/60/18
Little disappointed in the wheels. Look great from afar, but they're really cheap quality. The center cap and all "screws" are painted plastic, and the center caps stick out from the wheel on 4 plastic posts about 4"s... There's no way that would survive any off road play, and I foresee them chipping/peeling quickly.
As for the big question everyone will ask- YES, they rub... A lot, lol. At full turn they hit both crash bars (front pretty significantly) and the rear fender well lining. I'm going to cut the front bar back about 4" which will clear the tire yet still leave some protection. I may trim the rear bar back about an inch, but I'll have to re-evaluate that before I do. The fender lining will be easy to trim. I have to take it in about 2" and up about 3-4". I have some ideas other than completely cutting that piece out... I'll post pix of the final product.
I also did cut the tabs off from the air damn, did that after these pics, but it looks much cleaner without... Take my word on it, lol!
