I did want a wider stance. I was actually a little disappointed at how little the wheels/tires came out as it is. I anticipated a much wider stance. I'll be adding fender flares soon so I wanted the tires far enough out to sit flush with those.

Price was a factor too; believe it or not, to keep the same height yet cut an inch off the width, would have cost another $40/tire! I don't like undersized tires, I went down to an 18" rim to beef up the tires a bit, both height and width.

I anticipated about 2.5 inches out based on the zero offset compared to the spacers I had and the width of the tires. I ended up with about an inch to an inch and a half...

Where they sit now hits the bars and a little on the fender lining, with the spacers, it barely hit the front bars, but did touch the corner of the actual fender in front and the factory fender lip piece in the rear., feel better cutting the bars and liner than risking damaging the aluminum body panels. Should be relatively easy to trim a bit and clear everything as it sits now.

A 4" lift would clear the tires perfectly. I'm only at 2" front level, even a 2.5 might have made a huge difference, but I'm only clearing my garage door by an inch right now, so I'm kinda limited in raising it

So I cut the crash bars down today... piece of cake with a sawsall! I took off about 5", just enough to give me an inch clearance at full turn radius, while still leaving about 8" there for whatever protection they add. I also trimmed the fender liner behind the front tire as that hit as well. I trimmed a few other spots with the dremel that looked close as well. I've got a good inch clearance all the way around now, so I shouldn't have any rub issues. Used a rust inhibiting spray paint to conceal where I cut the bars- looks good as new... just a little shorter, lol. Also sprayed the center hub of my rotar hats as you could see the silver through the wheels.... looks better now- uniform black!

Thanks! The TPMS were an interesting experience... Apparently the correct OEM party is on global back order as they changed then from 2014-2015... I did find one company that was able to order then from another company... Seemed sketchy. Ended up going with the aftermarket brand that Discount Tire Direct sells, they were $40/ea but synced right up with no issues.

So did you remove the spacers when you put the new tires on?

Yup... Liked the look WITH them (especially projecting my near future purchase of fender flares) but my tires came to close to the actual fender at full turn, Lord only knows what will happen with the tires hitting the aluminum panels... Easier to clip off the crash bars than risk damaging a whole body panel. Might revisit the idea of a 3/8" spacer when the flares come vs the 1.5" adapter... Or add the adapter and move to a 3" level and block in the back to clear the fender...Just can't quite mention that to the wife just yet, lol

I planned on leveling mine and adding 33" tires (275/60/R20) with a 1" spacer. I think that will give me a slightly wider and taller stance, just to beef it up a bit. Combine that with deleting the front air dam and maybe blacking out the headlights and I think I'll be content.

Happy with it now, but seeing people modding out black trucks like mine makes me want to spend some money!

I hear ya!!!! Will the 1" clear the factory studs? My 1.5" just made it. But depends on the wheel pockets too. I'm very happy removing the air damn and cutting off the brackets. Didn't notice a change in gas mileage. Love the raptor retrofit lights, just Carr justify the cost. Look forward to seeing your progress!

I don't think the 1" will clear the factory studs but the inside of the wheels are recessed enough to allow it I think.

I like the blacked out lights but I clicked the link for the price and quickly closed out the web page.
