I love them! However, this is on my '13 just so you know.

My 06 SCrew was leveled with ReadyLift spacers on KYB struts. It rode ok. The stock Platinum, as you know from your prior truck, rides nice. However, I wanted to improve that and the BOSS accomplished it.

Controlled and firm. Not jarring. Stiff but compliant. Not harsh. No noise that I can detect and I'm still on stock Bridgestone tires.

I wanted only 1.5" of level, but ended up with 2" with Alex's help and a few chats. Alex should be able to set you up with 3" of ride height increase as he has a ton of 09-14 guys running the same.

Here's my post from the day after install.

I've cranked a touch on my RAS since then to adjust the rear end a smidge.
Here's the end result as she sits today:

Do you guys change out the UCA when you go 3" or so? How far can you lift and still get oem-like alignment settings?

The camburg and icon UCA's both require 3.75" of backspacing so you're looking at new wheels with the appropriate specs or spacers. Personally on my next truck, I won't won't do UCA's. My setup without doesn't maximize performance and it won't be aligned to spec. UCA's especially worth it if you're going to do a whole fox set up.
On my next id like to do fox 2.5 coils with external res, 2.5 piggy backs in the back with camburg UCA's and deaver leafs.

Wolf FX4, I do not believe your back space numbers are correct. I would have to check for sure, but I recall that Icon requires 5.5" of back space and Camburg require 5.75". You CAN run the Icon's with stock FX4 wheels, we did it for over a year.

You do not have to. We ran our 2012 SuperCrew at 3" of lift for a year with stock UCA's, never damaged them in any way. We swapped out to Icon when we became an Icon Dealer. They certainly do help with straightening out the ball joint angle.

I know you guys need a Denver-local 2015 truck to slap a BOSS kit on to promote the 2015 kits...personally, a King Ranch that will be delivered in late spring would be a perfect candidate...

Keep up the good work, Toytec/F150Lifts.

Edit: Also sorry for hijack, dubsesd.

What do the CV angles look like at 3"? I wonder if it effects the auto 4wd capability.

Sorry for the hijack dubsesd

no thread jack...all good questions. i would like to achieve another 3/4" of lift up front. i ran the same 2" level on my last truck for 4 years and i had no issues. before i traded the truck i had the front end checked and everything was tight! so i think 2.75" of lift will be ok for the CV's as well. i really dont want to go with a larger lift either, im very happy with how these trucks look with 2-3" lifts

Just for the record F150Lifts and Toytec are two different companies. We are certainly affiliated and F150Lifts is glad to have them on our team, but legally two different companies with different owners.
