There was a recent thread on the weather tech no-drills and clearance issues on Platinums. Don't recall exact details, but some Platty owners noting rubbing. It was also suggested Weathertech was aware and working on a solution. Just FYI

Would like to see pics. I have never considered mud flaps but sounds like I am missing out.

I would guess you could make pretty much any flat flaps work on the gator brackets form the video

After watching 30 seconds of the video I would never use those. What a PITA.

OEM's fit perfect and take about 5 min. to install. For me, the OEM's look better also.

The gatorback hands down offers more protection and looks better you can get stainless or blacked out versions
