Have to dremel around the back of the tail light. Also have to drill a hole for the LED strip wiring to exit. Once in place I used a 2 part epoxy then a silicon. It's my first time doing it so it looks like crap where I put it back together.

Fed the LED wire thru this opening to get it to the tail light wiring .
For the wiring i had to inline splice 3 wires per tail light. The colors are the same on both sides.
These are wires from the switchback to brake light plug
Black to black w/ yellow stripe
White to blue w/ white stripe
This is the wire from switchback to reverse plug
Orange wire to green w/ purple stripe

Did Charlie advise why he thought the product was not moving? Seems like it would be a hot item if it does what it says? Maybe the requirement of cutting open the assembly is turning people off???

Would be no different from any other retrofit. I agree with you its sad that their not going to continue to offer. Hopefully its just a shortage in supply and we'll see it come back soon.

He didn't elaborate much. Either they stopped carrying these due to lackluster sales or this was an experimental batch with no scheduled follow up. Hopefully that changes and more will be available for sale.
