Default Lower Back issues with new Platinum

Are any of you more experienced gentlemen with a 2015 Platinum having lower back issues. I've had my truck for a little over two weeks and it's a little painful. I have the lumbar fully deflated, but seems to still have too much lumbar. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

I feel your pain in my Lariat! Try running the seat cooler the heated back might help your pain.

Your Platinum has the messaging seat mechanical stuff in it. That may not help things. It took me several weeks to find the exact right seat setting due to my lower back.

Try reducing the recline of your seat back so your are sitting up straighter than you normally do, and ride it like that awhile, until the cushion in the lower seat back breaks down a bit and softens.

You could also have the dealer remove the seat back massager, that might give a little more space behind your lower back or at least reduce pressure of the seat on your back.

Dang, this is the first truck I've had that I didn't have lower back issues. I have bad sciatica and this trick is comfortable for me! Just did two 700 mile trips and not one ounce of pain. I have a lariat though, seats night and day different? My tundra seats caused all sorts of lower back pain and my sciatica would flare up. In sure you already adjusted the lumbar support to your comfort requirement, so I'm not sure what you can do.

The lumbar/massage air bag when deflated adds almost nothing to the lumbar (unzipped the back to fix dealer induced issue). I will try less lean on the seatback. I was hoping someone would say it breaks in after a while.

I felt the same way after two road trips. It seems to be getting better. I'm a big guy so I'm guessing the seat break in quicker with me sitting in it.

Can't say I get lower back pain but really uncomfortable leg pain like riding an airplane too long almost. My 2010 I could drive for days without noticing this truck starts to hurt after a few hours. Might just nut have found the right setting yet though

I was having the same lower back issues the first week of purchasing. I set the seat back more upright than I'm used to, and that fixed the lower back issues for me. Still trying to get used to it, but at least the back problems are gone

You may want to adjust the seat bottom up and back to reduce leg pain, back pain, more upright, to reduce back pressure on seat back. It's like a balancing act, to reduce pressure, though not sure how comfortable it will be. Good luck, and maybe a slim foam cushion is in your future?
