license plate lights?

Default license plate lights?
Can anyone recommend what type of LED bulb can be used to replace existing license plate lights?

168/194/2825 LED. There are a few listed in this thread

There is a clearance issue, so make sure you get short replacement's like the first post shows...the ones I bought are right up against the plastic cover and barely fit. I plan to replace them soon.

I used some phillips 194 led bulbs - worked perfectly.

These are the ones I bought and installed:
Amazon.com: SYLVANIA 168/194/2825 LED Premium White Miniature Bulb, (Pack of 1): Automotive Amazon.com: SYLVANIA 168/194/2825 LED Premium White Miniature Bulb, (Pack of 1): Automotive
Nice and bright, no issues with clearance and their white color matches the factory cargo box lamp and led by the tail gate handle. I believe they are also the same ones as mentioned in the above linked post.

Mine arrived today. I liked them so much I'm upgrading the interior lights on my Fiesta ST.

Do these bulbs change out by popping off the cover on either side of the plate?
I couldn't find anything (or missed it) in the manual

You access the bulbs from under the bumper. Just twist the connector a quarter turn and pull them out. Super easy.
