Which Levelling Kit Did You Choose And Why?
#62
Did you end up getting your Kings? This is the route I was thinking. I had King 2.5"s on my Superduty and they were amazing. Did you do Kings in the rear as well? I'm wanting to keep the stock wheels/tires but I read somewhere that they'll hit the Resi at full lock. Did you go with or without resi's? I'm also considering putting Deavers in the rear. Do you have any advice/ thoughts on this?

Wow! Very nice. I was undecided on which leveling kit to get for my XLT and your truck helped me make up my mind! Thanks for posting the before/after pictures with the 1.5" autospring kit!

As it sits now...
Front: Fender to ground: 39"
Rear: Fender to ground: 39.25"
Before the 1.5" level and wheels/tires:
Front: Fender to ground: 35.75"
Rear: Fender to ground: 38"

I thought I would follow up; I finally received my Kings and got them installed the other day. Out of the box, they gave my 2wd about 4.75" of lift so I backed them down 1/2". I'm currently sitting at 4.25" of lift. This is the max I'm willing to go, because otherwise they have no down travel. I might even lower it down a little bit more depending on how my tires/wheels fit when I get them on. I'd be curious to know how my lift numbers compare to those on a 4x4. From the bottom of the fender opening to the top of the wheel cap I measure 24.5". Keeping in mind the 2wd's have no rear block, I'm about 2.25" nose high right now. I have a 2.5" block on the way to bring the back end up.
At full droop, the top of the knuckle will rub on the springs, but that doesn't bother me at all. Realistically, unless you are really mashing on it, you will never see full droop. The front remote resi's are far forward and shouldn't be a concern with tire rub.
So far without it sitting level and no alignment, it rides really nice. Not as soft as stock (which is a good thing), but definitely not harsh in any way. The front doesn't have nearly as much nose dive during braking as it did with the factory shocks. The rear is incredible, and far better than stock!
I took it out urban prerunning tonight and ran a few whoop sections (a.k.a. mashing speed bumps at the local high school) and it felt good. With some bigger tires it should be great offroad. My wife had to remind me that the truck isn't a toy and I shouldn't be mashing on it. Considering I almost got arrested running my buggy over speed humps the day before my wedding, she's probably right.

Offset
I was hoping someone here could shed light here, my buddy picked up these autospring 2.5" but they seem to be the exact same spacer, should the offset be the other way on one they are both stamped with 4's on top and seem to be identical.. we also can't seem to find a D on either for designation of the driver side, any ideas?
