I don't know why you would want to lower, but if you have a 4x4 just remove the blocks in the rear.

Equipped with 4A, a 4x4 F150 could make the basis for a bad *** AWD street truck ... along the lines of a Grand Cherokee SRT which, despite being 4WD like it's off-pavement biased brethren, uses it's AWD torque distribution for street-biased traction.

I could see lowering, mounting 22s with some fat rubber (in a square fitment, like 305s at all fours), tune + exhaust, etc.

Not everyone needs (or wants) a 4x4 for off-roading ... and not every 4x4 owner wants a lifted, big-tired truck.

To all the DIYers. I've had an AS 2" level +3" rear blocks on the work bench for a month. I just haven't taken the time to install yet.

What words of advice do you have for installing the spacers on the front?

I installed the 1.5" spacers on my 13 F150. I believe I created some cuss words when removing and reinstalling the strut assembly.

Thinking about installing the AS 2.5" level kit on my 2015 (see sig for details). How does something like this affect your factory warranty?

I just picked up my '15 XLT Sport, and had my wheel/tire combo from my '11 put on it.

They're 20x9 Procomp 7032's with 33" Duratracs. The wheels are 0 offset and 5" backspacing, which results in them "poking out" an inch or two over the stock wheels.

They rub a fair bit on this stock height '15 (they weren't quite as bad on the '11) so I'm having a level put in by the dealer in a week - not sure if it's 2 or 2.5" yet. Anyone in the same boat that could confirm if they're going to clear or continue to rub anymore?

Also saw a question asked regarding a 2" vs 2.5" stressing suspension components - that true? Any help appreciated!

I am going to remove the rear block to level my 2016 F150. Then ask Icon to send me a set of coilovers to fit that spec.

I don't need that much ground clearance to hunt, fish, or tow my race car trailer.

And lifted big tired trucks are so, dare I say, passe.

I agree but I would never lower a 4x4 truck or any truck. I just like having a little more aggressive tread than what ford puts on these trucks stock and is why I opted for the 275 60 20 KO2's. I am also putting a small 2" lift front and back on the truck for a little more clearance.

The issue with just do a front level kit or just lowering the rear is if you start using your truck and have a load in the back it will sag and then your headlights are pointing up and the truck is un-level. Kinda of an unsafe thing right there.

I use my truck to tow and off road either on my 21 acres or the 14k acres hunting club behind the property. I also have airbags to assist with level when you have a load in the back or on the hitch.

Indeed. Airbags are key. I plan to install a set to maintain a level ride no matter what the load...

would a 3 inch front spacer and a 1.5 rear block be to much?

Dropped mine off at the dealership to fix glove compartment issue on my 2015 Platinum. Also talked about leveling off truck and if would void warranty. Told me no and they could actually do it for me. They are going to put a 2.5" ProComp leveling kit for $350 and also align. Hopefully i will get back tomorrow
