Lariat push botton start question...
Hey guys, I've had my F150 Lariat Sport w/ the 501A package for about a month now. My commute to work involves a ferry ride. I usually sit in my truck with the engine off, and the ignition in accessory mode so I can listen to the radio. My question is this... Is there a way to set the amount of time the truck will stay in accessory mode before it turns off automatically? I just keep thinking if I go to drive in movie, how am I going to listen to the movie the whole time without my truck running or having to turn it on over and over...
Thanks in advance for any input.

I remember a thread a while back about leaving pets in the truck with the engine running for cooling/heating. If I remember correctly the max was 25 minutes without doing something like acknowledging on the center display or something like that, but I thought i read if you left your park lights on, it would disable the auto shut-off. I also know that on mine I can come to a stop and let the the start-stop turn off the engine, THEN put it in park and the engine will remain off, but the truck is technically "running".
My truck is 1,500 miles away right now, so I can't confirm, but a possible solution would be to pull up with your park lights on, let the start-stop turn it off, then place it in park. The engine should stay off, but you'd have use of all accessories as if the truck was running.
Edit: Your signature doesn't say which engine you have, and this will only work with the 2.7 as it's the only one with start-stop technology.

There was just a thread on this the other day. You can not change the time your radio will stay running when the vehicle is in accessory mode.

Put it in "Full accessory mode". IE. press start button with out putting foot on the brake pedal. Be sure to turn off any unwanted things like the fan, AC, lights ect. Just turning off the engine and not opening the door gives you about 1o minutes of radio in limited accy mode.
