Default Lariat Digital Trans Temp Gauge Question

Just picked up a 2015 Lariat 2 days ago. I noticed in online pic and ligature that the digital Transmission Temp gauge not only shows you the temp from cold to hot represented in a picture, but also has the actual temp in numbers hovering over the picture. On mine there is only a pic and no trans temp number above it. What's going on? The pic below is one I found on the web and shows 225 F above the Trans Temp gauge....mine has NO NUMBER even when fully warm.

Think I remember someone saying it was a shot from an R&D truck and never made it to production models....

That would explain it. Would be nice if the numbers were there.

I bet that's what it is. I wonder what temp is considered an unsafe level. I guess I need to go pull something heavy!

If anyone is still interested, Engine & Trans temps can now be displayed above the gauge with FORScan. See this post in the FORScan thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forsc...4/#post4842900

Man I need to get Forscan. I wanted to be able to see coolant temp and boot so I bought it but now I can't get the codes to read the coolant temp. I wonder if coolant temp numbers are hidden In Forscan...
