I've seen two variations of the KR branding on the back of 2015 KR's and I have not been able to sort out what causes it to look one way and what the other.

One has tailgate branding like the Platinum with the a large silver plate that spans the width of the tailgate and says King Ranch with the KR logo. The other just has the F150 logo on one side and the KR badge on the other.

Anyone know what the difference is? I kinda like the Platinum-like KR plate across the tailgate, but I've only seen them in pics and videos, never in a dealer's showroom.

Which, incidentally, is auto-selected as a prerequisite for the monochromatic paint scheme (ie, no two-tone / caribou lower).

The difference is one King Ranch has the chrome package, and the other is just the regular

That white truck is actually built incorrectly (not the first time we've seen that). It also is a chrome package truck, so it should have the chrome tailgate. But yes, the way it's supposed to work is the tailgate is part of the chrome appearance package. My guess is that white truck was a very early build that slipped by QC.
