Besides, I drive an hour to the grocery store and back. Don't risk losing part of your advantage over a short drive.

Does it matter if at one point it was transfered from another dealer? Through COTUS I see it was delivered 24 Mar 2016 to a different dealer than who has it now.

Chances are it was 'traded' for another vehicle because someone wanted it through a different dealership. This one was likely the one that dealer traded to get the desired vehicle moved. Most likely won't affect anything at this point.

Test drove the XL FX4 with the LT245/70 17E tires. The sales guy had it ready when I got there, but tire pressures where low (around 40psi) so I had them pump them up to the recommended 55psi per the door jam. It was harsh riding compared to others with the 265 tires. Also, the start-stop never activated, guess due to the low battery (11 month old 'new' truck)
Had an MSRP of $39,00X and it was eventually offered to me for $31K (+$300 Doc fee) after the $4,300 incentives.
One trick he used was during the 'looking at' stage, he mentioned throwing in some extras, I mentioned the bed mat which he would use later as his bait. He mentioned it a couple more time to keep that in my mind.
When we sat down and after we talked prices, he brought up the bed mat and said. I'll go 31,140 but will NOT throw in the bed mat, emphasizing 'can't have that bed mat'.
I could see right through his intentions. That negative comment and 'can't give you the bed mat' bit was his way of diverting my attention from the price with me then focusing on 'getting that free bed mat'. He would have then let me 'win' with him reluctantly (his vision of my perception of him) giving in and throwing in the bed mat while silently in his mind he's doing the pumped fist in the air, arm yank down "Yes!" victory motion. I denied him of that victory vision when I told him I knew what he was up to.
Oh yeah, watch out for the silent treatment. They throw out a high price on paper and put it in front of you and say nothing waiting for you to respond. How you respond verbally or visually they use against you. I just sit there and look back at them in silence.
OTOH, sometimes it best to act like you don't know what they're up to and use that to your advantage.
