Just Another Build & Review Thread...Rancho 4.5" With BFG K02, Platinum 6.5' FX4
#71
With the 4.5" Rancho will it still fit in the garage? Just wondering if the lift is a little more than 4.5 inches? I know on the older trucks typically the lift can be a little more than 4.5" and with 35" tires, it is a close call on fitting in a standard garage.

I've not tried, as the truck is too long to fit anyways
I'll try to remember to take some measurements over the weekend.

Rolled over 12k this past weekend. Time for new engine air filter, and a oil change. Figured I'd keep this thread updated with everything I do to the truck. Doesn't hurt to have a timeline of maintenance.

srg963, LOVE your truck, looking to get same wheels, but being told they are not compatible with 2015 f150. I have same truck as you in black and looking at the American Eagle 014 9x20 with 6 x 135 bolt pattern. Do you have hub centric rings to make them fit ? Any problems shaking, shimmying at highway speeds (75-85mph)

No rings, no shake, and no shimmy. I believe the wheels are lug-centric.

Adaptive cruise + Lift
Have tried to research this but to no avail. Adaptive Cruise Control still functional with the lift/tire combo? Same with BLIS?
Nice looking Plat by the way, same combo I'm considering minus the moonroof and Brunello interior in 2016.

The only thing that doesn't work 100% is the self parallel parking, which I've used only to try it out, as I never parallel park. And it's not off by much. The rear tire hits the curb, then you have to pull forward just a hair to straighten it up.

First was the tear down. I had my friends do the install.
And the finished product.
I love the rear adjustable shocks. Really smoothed out the rear ride.
I'm using the OEM FX4 front struts with the Rancho spacers for now.
I will upgrade the front struts and upper control arms soon.
The 10 ply tires ride a bit rougher than the factory installed tires.
I'm running the air pressure at 40 cold / 44 hot.
