For the 2015 Mustang, once they had the build and price button up, it wasn't too long before it actually linked to a real page. But it was the same way at first, that is just how they do it.

**** like this annoys the **** out of me. If a company is going to make this type of information public facing...IT BETTER DAMWELL WORK!

For a company the size of Ford, to add the "build and price" link then not have it working...shows me that Ford still has a ways to go to being a professional company.

Reading the threads on this forum, and watching Ford prepare to release a new truck design/style for 2015 has been a huge eye opener for me.

I don't really care about this stuff but just seeing how Ford manages it's business model speaks volumes to it's integrity. Makes me wonder if buying a Ford was a wise choice.

I'm 22% confident I'm correct here.
Why is the button there...is this Ford or Lada?

I wouldn't say it's bush league, but if I was the web developer I wouldn't put the button there if it didn't point to something real.

Why does everyone get their panties in a bunch over stuff like this? If you work in IT, you know **** happens. If its a mess up, it means its coming real soon most likely. If its to build hype, cool itll work, I bet all forums will have a thread on this and some news and blog sites will pick it up too. Just relax people..

Some people are getting a little worked up over a button. The site will come. As long as Ford keeps building trucks the way they do im not going to let an IT problem affect my decision on buying a vehicle from them, that's a bit crazy.

I agree. My thought is this 2015 F150 has drug out too long and Ford has to keep creating interest and if a button helps they will do it(plus anything else).

Clearly some of us have higher standards than others here.

I for one do not have my "panties in a bunch" however somewhere someone is responsible for the public facing information we see. If we know the link is broken so does Ford and if they know and they don't feel it should be fixed what else does Ford feel doesn't need to be fixed?

Intercoolers? Timing chains? Shocks?

As for **** happens? Yes, and ultimately someone is accountable.
At the very least, there should be a message that says "Coming Soon" rather than a broken link error message.

I have little regard for the old "oh well" ..."**** happens" attitude.
Shame on you Ford.

Im not even going to complain about the link not working but I do have a question about the other links (non Ford)

they all show that you can not get an truck with an extended cab 4x4 with a 5.0 with the 6.5 ft bed -

is this really the case - If so I had not seen that anywhere before
