I looked over the fuse list quickly and didn't see what the USB was numbered as ? Would be a good one .

I believe all the USB ports are part of the infotainment center therefore they are not separate and you would not get them to do what your looking for. I would suggest getting/using a 12V outlet adapter to USB and follow the mod for the 12v outlet.

Hey Bob... a little off topic....used Forscan to keep my 12v outlets "hot" but was wondering what size/brand of cooler you use. So many on Amazon to choose from....just needing a "smallish" one to keep some items frosty when we venture down from our 5,500 ft. Prescott to Phoenix with temps around 100+.... AZPLAT

I use this one.. It's a TED one so you know how great that works.. But I have been happy with it.. You can use it as a stand up or chest like I do.

BUT for your needs I would look into a compresser style one.. Lots more money but they work a lot better..

This is what I have.

Default Overkill for me...??

Looks like a fairly high power consumer..... have you noticed battery drain using it....Imay settle for more around the 7 qt. versions but if that size is fine in your experience, maybe I will go bigger... AZZPLAT.

Had it running to precool it for three hours before loading it and heading on the three hour drive to cottage. Truck started no problem.. It only takes 4 amps..
I loaded it with frozen food this trip and everything was still frozen solid when we unloaded..

Keep in mind it's for keeping cold stuff cold, not great at cooling off warm stuff..

And it does only pull a 40 degree drop. Works great here in Michigan as a spare freezer in the winter sitting on the side porch loaded with blueberries.. If it's 32F outside it's -12F inside.. But if it's 90 outside than it's 50 F inside.. And keep it out of the sun!

I realize this is pretty old but where did you find the 12v outlets with Forscan?

There is a Forscan sticky at the top of the 2015- Prestent section. First post has an attachment that lists every change that can currently be made. Or read the umpteen million pages for a bunch of fun.

Look on the spreadsheet of common changes, then you can go to the link that shows you what to change to get the on time you want..
